Job summary

MECO Engineering in Jefferson City, MO seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead our structural team. You will oversee engineers and designers, provide technical leadership, project management, and client engagement for civil infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, a PE license (SE license a plus), and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. This role offers a competitive salary, bonus potential, health benefits, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license a plus.
8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience with leadership/management exposure.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for design and analysis of structural systems.
Review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications for steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
Lead project management from concept to completion: scopes, budgets, schedules, and delivery.
Engage with clients, manage relationships, and drive business development activities.
