LaBella Associates in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead multidisciplinary public infrastructure projects, mentor staff, and strengthen client partnerships for sustainable, connected communities.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, QA/QC, and business development, collaborating across offices to deliver high-quality designs that meet local standards and advance community resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in municipal or public infrastructure design and project management.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in North Carolina or eligible to obtain within 6 months.
• Proven track record leading teams, managing clients, and delivering successful infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with municipal and state clients, serving as a trusted technical advisor.

Salary Range:$120,000 - $155,000 per year

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in municipal or public infrastructure design and project management.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in North Carolina or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proven experience leading teams, managing clients, and delivering successful infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of AutoDesk Civil 3D, stormwater and utility design, and local standards.
