Job summary

Worley seeks a Senior Principal Civil Engineer to lead Civil engineering efforts for Worley and its customers in the Reading, PA area. You will provide technical supervision within the Civil engineering team, guiding complex projects and ensuring compliance with applicable standards.

The role requires 12+ years of experience, strong leadership, and expertise in earthworks design, cost estimation, and proposal content. English fluency and PE preferred.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant discipline experience.
• Experience in estimating project costs and writing proposal content.
• Sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of civil earthworks design, including environmental and geotechnical aspects.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in civil engineering software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering services that meet specifications, on time and within budget.
• Supervise, guide and mentor junior staff.
• Advise on environmental law requirements applicable to the project.
• Manage Civil resource hours and schedule.
• Liaise with customers and resolve discrepancies in requirements.
• Keep up-to-date with developments in civil engineering.
• Site earthwork planning, grading and drainage design, and related infrastructure design.
• Prepare cost estimates, tender docs, and reviews.
