Job summary

Accenture Construct in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with California-licensed PE and 8+ years of civil design experience on public or educational facilities. Onsite role collaborating with district and city partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• Minimum eight (8) years of full-time professional civil design experience on commercial or public agency projects.
• A valid Professional Engineer license in Civil Engineering issued by the California State Board.

Responsibilities

• Define and review project scope, requirements, schedules, and interim housing needs for District facility projects.
• Perform complex civil engineering work involving planning, design, and construction of District facilities and site improvements, providing technical direction and design certification.
• Apply civil engineering principles to develop project scopes, budgets, design reviews, coordination, and construction solutions for FSD projects.
• Provide technical guidance to architects, consulting engineers, and District personnel on site development, including grading, paving, fencing, parking, streets, storm drainage, sewer systems, and related improvements.
• Direct and review civil engineering project documents, including surveys, drawings, specifications, and technical documents, ensuring compliance with District standards and project requirements.
• Manage civil engineering, land surveying, and related professional service contracts and task orders while maintaining current engineering standards and specifications.
• Evaluate site development feasibility and costs, resolve issues during construction, and provide technical advice to contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, and project personnel.
• Coordinate with City of Los Angeles and consultants on permits and approvals for off-site improvements, provide design certifications, and support real estate activities involving legal descriptions.
