Job summary

Hatch in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Project Delivery Group. You will lead civil design efforts on diverse projects, coordinate with other disciplines, and supervise engineers and drafters to deliver safe, sustainable solutions.

You bring a degree in civil engineering, 5+ years of experience, proficiency in Civil3D, OpenRoads and Microstation, and strong communication. The role offers dynamic projects, growth opportunities, and a collaborative global team.

Qualifications

• A recognized degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years' experience in civil engineering design and management.
• Experience in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Civil3D, OpenRoads and Microstation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering Manager with delivery of project scope, quantities, cost and schedule.
• Prepare EWPs in consultation with the Engineering Manager.
• Assign tasks to team and monitor progress and quality.
• Develop and maintain civil work plans for project execution.
• Prepare and review project procedures, specifications and design criteria.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders.
• Provide input to engineering and cost estimates.
• Support site engineering team for timely technical responses.
