Hatch is seeking a dynamic Junior Site/Civil Engineer. Reporting to the Product Delivery Group, you will support offices globally working from our Houston, TX office location.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be university graduates with relevant skills and little or no professional experience.
• Preferred a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering scopes including earthworks, grading, roadworks, underground utilities, and stormwater management across diverse site development projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including structural, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines, to ensure integrated and high-quality project outcomes.
• Perform technical tasks related to site layout, drainage systems, utility coordination, and surface modeling.
• Support the development of detailed design packages, including calculations, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings and documentation based on design inputs, field data, and project requirements.
• Participate in site investigations, surveys, and data collection to inform design decisions.
• Assist in preparing permit applications and supporting documentation for regulatory approvals.
• Contribute to quantity take-offs and bill of materials for civil projects.
• Maintain project documentation and assist in tracking progress against schedules and budgets.
• Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices relevant to civil engineering and site development.
• Provide technical support to Senior Engineers and Designers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
