BA Global Talent is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer – Land Development & Stormwater to join a well-established consulting engineering firm in Hampton, New Jersey. The firm provides specialized civil and environmental engineering services, including land development, stormwater management, site planning, septic system design, inspection, and troubleshooting.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced civil engineer looking to take a key role in land development projects while working directly with clients, municipalities, planning boards, zoning boards, and other land-use agencies.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in land development and stormwater management, communicates confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and is comfortable providing professional testimony before local boards and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead land development projects with a focus on stormwater management and site plan design.
• Provide professional testimony before planning boards, zoning boards, and other land-use agencies.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable local land-use regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and respond constructively to professional feedback.

Qualifications

• Hold an active Professional Engineer (PE) license. New Jersey licensure is preferred, but active PE licenses from other U.S. states are accepted. Candidates licensed in another state will be provided the necessary time to obtain New Jersey licensure through reciprocity.
• 6-8 years of land development experience, particularly in stormwater management and site plan design.
• Experience working with local planning and zoning boards.
• Strong public-speaking and communication skills, including the ability to provide professional testimony.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and accept constructive feedback.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Relocation support for qualified candidates located anywhere within the United States.
• Health insurance: Eligibility begins after six months of employment. Employees may self-pay for health insurance before employer-paid coverage begins. After one year of employment, the employer covers the full individual health insurance premium. Family coverage is available through pre-tax payroll deductions, with the employer covering applicable employer costs. The estimated cost of individual health insurance ranges from $600 to $1,000 per month. Dental insurance is provided.
• 401(k): 4% employer match for employees contributing at least 5%.
• Paid holidays: Six to seven per year.
• Vacation: No vacation during the first year; two weeks after the first year, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after 10 years.
• Sick time: Provided in accordance with New Jersey regulations.

Location: Hampton, New Jersey.

Schedule: On-site, five days per week, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Salary: Up to $155,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
