Job summary

T&M Associates is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to join our Land Development team in King of Prussia, PA. The role focuses on civil design, zoning analysis, and stormwater management, with collaboration across regulatory agencies.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree and 5+ years in land development; a PE license is preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and stormwater modeling is expected. We offer a hybrid work arrangement and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• 5+ years of land development experience including zoning analysis, land planning, grading, drainage, utility layout, stormwater management.
• Experience with NJDEP & NJDOT permitting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and stormwater modeling software.
• Strong communication and teamwork, capable of presenting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site designs including grading, stormwater management, utilities, drainage, soil erosion, sediment control, and site planning.
• Prepare reports, findings, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and other contract documents for land development projects.
• Conduct feasibility/due diligence studies and support land use/zoning processes.
• Model and design stormwater management facilities and land development infrastructure.
• Acquire construction land use permits from state, county, and local entities.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with clients and regulators to ensure project delivery.

T&M Associates is looking for a highly motivated Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical design roles focused on Land Development projects. The successful candidate will possess a background in zoning analysis, site design & layout, grading & drainage design, utility layout, stormwater management, soil erosion and sediment control, flood hazard design, and relevant local, regional, and state regulations. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare site designs, including grading, stormwater management, utilities, drainage, soil erosion, sediment control, and site planning.
• Prepare reports, findings, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and other contract documents for land development projects.
• Conduct feasibility/due diligence studies and support land use/zoning processes.
• Model and design stormwater management facilities and land development infrastructure.
• Acquire construction land use permits from state, county, and local entities.
• This role provides growth into project management, including mentoring junior staff, delegating work, and collaborating with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure successful project delivery.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in public testimony and presentations being a plus.
