Job summary

Soave Enterprises LLC seeks a Civil Engineer to oversee land development projects from concept to completion in Brambleton, VA. Must have a Virginia PE (or reciprocity within 6 months) and 7+ years of relevant experience, with strong skills in reading and updating drawings, budgets, and schedules.

You will coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and public agencies, develop detailed project schedules, cost projections, and ensure compliance with codes and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a PE license in Virginia (or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months).
• 7+ years of experience overseeing land development for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and amend construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience with construction management and scheduling tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Primavera.
• Exceptional communication, analytical problem-solving, and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of keeping cross-functional teams aligned and on target.
• Preferred: OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supports the design and execution of land development projects from concept through completion.
• Develops, monitors, and manages detailed project schedules and reports from inception through construction and bond release.
• Develops and manages cost projections, budgets, and change orders with contractors and consultants to keep projects on budget.
• Coordinates with contractors and external engineers/architects to ensure plans reflect latest requirements.
• Oversees site plan development, grading, stormwater management, and utility designs with the Construction Engineer.
