Job summary

Impact Recruitment is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in San Diego, California, with 8+ years of experience to join our client's engineering team. They provide civil engineering, design and consulting services for public works, utilities, industrial, commercial, retail and large housing projects.

Responsibilities include managing projects and clients, providing technical leadership, overseeing land development designs, and coordinating with agencies, contractors and other engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Master’s degree preferred, not required.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• 6+ years of experience.
• Experience on private development and municipal experience.
• Strong communication skills; self-motivated, team-oriented; advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency; extensive experience managing all aspects of land development projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects, clients, and the internal team to ensure all project goals and deadlines are met.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering technicians and other staff members in the department.
• Oversee the design of land development projects.
• Attend meetings with clients, reviewing agencies, contractors, and other design professionals.
• Establish and maintain project lifecycle from conception to completion.
• Additional related duties as needed.
