Job summary

Dennis Group Civil Engineers focus on the land development and infrastructure for our industrial projects that involve designing and building new food and beverage process facilities.

Our civil engineers have strong technical and design ability and excellent communication skills in designing land development plans, building pads, infrastructure for new buildings, landscaping, and everything from the foundation and below.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of civil engineering tasks on industrial construction projects.
• 8+ years of drainage, grading and utility design.
• 8+ years of AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 15 days per year.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

• Applies standard techniques and criteria to perform design tasks as part of a broader assignment.
• Designs complete projects and prepares CAD drawings.
• Performs bid evaluation and contractor initial contact.
• Develops site design documents and storm drainage plans.
• Coordinates with project team and reviews drawings.
• Visits project sites to observe field conditions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) License
