Job summary

Dennis Group civil engineers design land development and infrastructure for food and beverage facilities across multiple locations. You will work with a Building Systems team alongside structural engineers and architects, supporting bid processes and field coordination.

The role emphasizes technical design, CAD documentation, and adherence to project specifications with opportunities for site visits and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4-7 years of experience in civil engineer tasks involving industrial construction projects.
• 4-7 years of experience in drainage, grading and utility design for industrial or commercial projects.
• 4-7 years of experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed (15 days a year).
• License: EIT.

Responsibilities

• Applies standard techniques and procedures to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment.
• Prepare partial to complete project documentation, including complete CAD drawings.
• Performs procurement tasks such as bid list development, contractor initial contact, bid tabulation, and preliminary bid evaluation.
• Develop site basis of design document and edit project specifications.
• Design parking lots and sites for regulatory compliance; perform hydrologic and drainage analyses.
• Visit project sites to observe field conditions and coordinate with project team.
