Job summary

Giffels Webster in Macomb County, MI, seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to support municipal clients on projects that improve residents' quality of life. The role involves independent project work under a PM, with collaboration across disciplines.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of Civil Engineering experience, AutoCAD proficiency, and preferably Michigan PE licensure; Civil3D and green infrastructure experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from ABET-accredited university or equivalent amount of applicable experience.
• At least 5 years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Experience in AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities

• Site plan layout, geometrics, grading, pavement design.
• Soil erosion and sediment control; stormwater and green infrastructure design.
• Utility design (storm, sanitary, water) and traffic plans.
• Record drawings and specifications; permit applications and cost estimates.
• Attend meetings; conduct field visits; perform construction administration tasks.
