Giffels Webster is seeking a Project Engineer for our Macomb County office in Washington Township. You will support local communities with projects that enhance residents' quality of life in southeast Michigan.

The role involves independent work within a team led by the Project Manager on a variety of civil engineering tasks. Qualifications include a civil engineering degree (ABET-accredited) or equivalent, 1–3 years of experience, and AutoCAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited civil engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities

• Geometrics design and analysis.
• Grading and pavement design tasks.
• Soil erosion and sediment control planning.
• Utility (storm, sanitary and water) design.
• Stormwater management and green infrastructure design.
• Traffic control plans and details.
• Record drawings and specifications.
• Prepare permit applications and cost estimates.
• Attend meetings and conduct field visits.
• Perform construction administration tasks.
