Giffels Webster is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Washington Township office (Macomb County) in Michigan. The role supports local communities on projects that enhance residents' quality of life, working in a team led by the Project Manager.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently on diverse engineering tasks and will have AutoCAD experience. We offer a hybrid work arrangement with some in-office collaboration and field/office site visits, plus a strong benefits package

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of civil engineering experience.
• Must have experience with AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities

• Geometrics, grading, pavement design, and road layout.
• Soil erosion and sediment control planning and design.
• Utilities design (storm, sanitary and water) and stormwater management.
• Details, record drawings and specifications preparation.
• Prepare permit applications and cost estimates.
• Attend meetings and conduct field visits.
• Construction administration tasks and project support.
