Qualifications

• Licensure as a professional Engineer (P.E.) with AELSLAGID.
• Experience coordinating with local governments, the public, contractors, or MnDOT groups.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of plan development, contract administration or project management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET) with FE eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering the Metro District Municipal Agreement Program with emphasis on complex Local Federal Aid projects.
• Prepare environmental documents and construction plans to ensure conformance with State/Federal rules.
• Assist with cooperative construction agreements with local agencies and cost sharing with the State.
• Work in a hybrid in-office/telework arrangement as policy allows.
