Job summary

Global Edge Group is seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer (P.E.) to lead and stamp designs for HDD and trenchless utility crossings. The role focuses on USACE Section 408 permitting, hydraulic fracture analysis, and coordination with TxDOT and levee crossings.

You will mentor junior staff toward PE licensure, review field data, and deliver technically sound plans for crossings under regulated infrastructure. On-site work in Texas is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; USACE regulatory environment preferred.
• Active P.E. license in Texas required at hire; TBPELS verification.
• Minimum 5 years in civil/utility infrastructure with trenchless/HDD design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, stamp, and seal HDD/utility plans for crossings under levees, canals, TxDOT roadways, and railroad corridors.
• Interpret geotechnical data, bore path design, and hydraulic fracture FOS analysis per project regulations.
• Develop plans, specs, and cost estimates for trenchless crossings; QA reviews.
