Fuscoe Engineering is seeking a Senior Engineer I/II to support our Downtown San Diego office. You will contribute to land development projects, mentor junior staff, and perform complex hydrology, hydraulics, and grading tasks while collaborating in a 100% employee-owned firm that values mentorship, learning, and open communication.

The position emphasizes hybrid work after 90 days, strong technical design skills, and collaboration across disciplines in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum 5–7 years of land development design experience.
• Minimum 2 years independently solving complex engineering problems in land development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, LDD, and Civil 3D software required.
• EIT Certification is required.

Aufgaben

• Develop project designs considering constraints, goals, agency standards, and best practices.
• Assist with construction administration including RFIs, submittals, and changes.
• Train and provide technical assistance to junior staff.
• Prepare technical reports and perform hydrology, hydraulics, water quality, stormwater detention and utility sizing calculations.
• Perform complex grading design and earthwork calculations.
• Provide deliverables to TM/PM or externally with full QAQC and completeness checking.
