Job summary

The City of Greeley is seeking a Civil Engineer IV to provide senior leadership within the engineering and public works functions. You will guide complex infrastructure programs, direct project management, and coordinate with elected officials, regulators, and the public to ensure sustainable, code-compliant delivery of municipal projects.

Responsibilities include leading engineering teams, managing high-profile projects, and representing the City in interagency discussions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Seven (7) years of direct relevant experience.
Supervisor experience.
Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE).
Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Provide executive-level guidance for municipal infrastructure and CIP programs.
Lead engineering teams and coordinate across departments to ensure compliant delivery of projects.
Develop and present technical and strategic recommendations to city leadership and external partners.
Manage multiple complex projects, budgets, and schedules with risk oversight.
Supervise interns and staff; mentor and develop team talent.
