City of Gunnison Public Works seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to plan, design, and implement capital projects spanning streets, utilities, ADA accessibility, stormwater, water, sewer, and electric services. You will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and City stakeholders to move projects from planning through construction.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in any US state, with ability to obtain Colorado licensure within six months.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Municipal engineering experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan and implement capital improvement projects for streets and utilities.
• Oversee design and construction, manage consultants and contractors.
• Coordinate funding and grant writing.
• Review plans for compliance with municipal codes and policies.
• Lead communications with the public, staff, and City Council.
