Penn E&R is seeking a full‑time Senior Civil Engineer / Assistant Engineering Manager. You will be based in our Pittsburgh, PA office, with hybrid/work‑from‑home opportunities. The role requires both office‑based and field‑based assignments across all of Penn E&R’s market sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer license
• 10 to 15 years of civil engineering experience
• Work experience required in Hydrology and hydraulics, Erosion and sediment controls, Stormwater management controls, Land Development, and AutoCAD Civil 3D

Applicable Work Experience

• Provide technical guidance for site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, post‑construction stormwater management plans, and land development/subdivision plans
• Hydrology, hydraulic and drainage calculations
• Erosion and sediment control design
• Stormwater management calculations
• Post‑construction BMP design
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D drafting and standard drafting techniques
• Create 3‑D surfaces, grading plans, profiles/cross‑sections, pipe networks and corridors
• Work with Project Managers to coordinate with clients and prepare proposals
