Penn E&R, a leader in environmental remediation and civil engineering design, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer / Assistant Engineering Manager for the Pittsburgh, PA area with hybrid work options.

You will contribute across multiple market sectors, performing both office-based and field-based tasks, and provide technical guidance on site plans, hydrology, and drainage analyses while coordinating with clients and project teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 10–15 years of civil engineering experience.
• Work experience in hydrology, hydraulics, erosion controls, stormwater, and land development.

Aufgaben

• Prepare site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and post-construction stormwater plans.
• Perform hydrology, hydraulic and drainage calculations.
• Design erosion and sediment controls; perform stormwater calculations.
• Develop grading plans, profiles, cross-sections, and pipe networks.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to coordinate with clients and prepare proposals.

Penn E&R is seeking a full-time Senior Civil Engineer /Assistant Engineering Manager. While you will be based our of our Pittsburgh, PA office, we offer hybrid/work-from-home opportunities. You will have the opportunity to perform a wide range of tasks across all of Penn E&R’s market sectors and be expected to perform both office-based and field-based assignments.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer license
• 10 to 15 years of civil engineering experience
• Work experience in the following is required:
• Hydrology and hydraulics
• Erosion and sediment controls
• Stormwater management controls
• Land Development

Applicable work experience for this role includes:

• Provide technical guidance for the preparation of site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, post-construction stormwater management plans, and land development/subdivision plans
• Hydrology and hydraulic and drainage calculations
• Erosion and sediment control design
• Stormwater management calculations
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D and standard drafting techniques and applications with experience in the preparation of the following:
• Grading plans
• Profiles/cross-sections
• Pipe networks and corridors
• Working with Project Managers to coordinate with clients and prepare proposals
