Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an Engineering Designer III/Project Engineer to join its team in Atlanta, GA. The candidate will perform design tasks including grading and drainage designs for development projects, collaborating with staff engineers using AutoCAD.

Responsibilities include managing stormwater systems, conducting site investigations, and developing comprehensive design plans. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 4–7+ years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of residential and/or commercial civil land development experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Knowledge of local municipal, county, and state land use, planning, and zoning processes.

Responsibilities

• Review municipal zoning and land development ordinances.
• Conduct site investigation and due diligence.
• Prepare concept drawings based on client development objectives.
• Design stormwater management and conveyance systems.
• Perform pipe sizing calculations for stormwater systems.
