Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in Atlanta, GA seeks an Engineering Designer to support civil/site land development projects. You will use Civil 3D to assist with site design, calculations, construction plans, and field investigations while learning from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required.
• 0-4+ years of related experience; Engineer in Training preferred.
• Proficiency in Civil3D and CAD software.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Strong English reading/writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and create estimates.
• Develop drawings from prior projects or sketches and apply redlines.
• Ensure designs meet company and client standards.
• Perform QA/QC of design calculations and methods.
• Interpret drawings from multiple disciplines and respond to RFIs.
• Conduct field inspections and document findings.
• Research and apply code provisions to design.
• Utilize Civil 3D on a daily basis.
