Job summary

Bohler’s Chalfont, PA office is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead site design, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting, while ensuring design quality, constructability, and regulatory compliance. You’ll serve as a trusted technical resource for your team on complex Bucks County projects.

You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and project leaders to deliver high-impact land development work from concept through construction, mentoring junior staff and shaping

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 5+ years of land development design and permitting experience.
• PE license beneficial; EIT required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Design and review grading, drainage, and utility plans for complex sites.
• Conduct zoning research and site feasibility analyses.
• Support project coordination with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Review design deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate with and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Perform hydrology, stormwater, and earthwork calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Contribute to project budgeting, workload planning, and task coordination.
