Job summary

Bohler Engineering Group’s Boca Raton and West Palm Beach offices are seeking a Project Manager who will oversee complex land development projects from concept to completion. You will balance design quality with client satisfaction and financial performance while serving as the primary client contact.

You will lead internal teams, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with leadership on business development. On-site management in South Florida is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of civil/site design and permitting experience in land development.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project delivery, including design, permitting, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Serve as the primary client contact and ensure expectations are met through clear communication and proactive leadership.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Assistant Project Managers and technical staff.
• Oversee financial performance, including contracts, invoicing, and change management.
• Present at public hearings, client meetings, and community sessions as needed.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on business development and account growth.
• Promote quality control, innovation, and continuous improvement within your team.

In this leadership role, you will oversee complex land development projects throughout the South FL Metro area, guiding them from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will include balancing design quality, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining financial performance. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, lead internal teams, and ensure that the success of each project aligns with Bohler's standards.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of civil/site design and permitting experience in land development.
• Proven success in managing project delivery and client relationships.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience overseeing budgets, contracts, and staff development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater design software.
• PE license preferred.
