Job summary

Bohler’s Red Bank, NJ office is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer ready to advance to technical leadership. You will own key aspects of site design, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting, serving as a technical resource on high-profile Jersey Shore projects.

You will collaborate with seasoned engineers, refine approaches, and ensure design quality, constructability, and compliance across complex sites. A PE is beneficial; EIT in progress is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of land development design and permitting experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
• Knowledge of local zoning, permitting, and construction requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and review grading, drainage, and utility plans for complex sites.
• Conduct zoning research and site feasibility analyses.
• Support project coordination with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Review design deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate with and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Perform hydrology, stormwater, and earthwork calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and design software.
• Contribute to project budgeting, workload planning, and task coordination.

• Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving and communication skills
• PE license beneficial; EIT required or in progress
