Job summary

Bohler's Boca Raton, FL office is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead site design, grading, utilities, and permitting across complex land development projects. You will ensure design quality, constructability, and compliance while serving as a technical resource for the team.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in land development, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and a Civil Engineering degree. PE is a plus; EIT progress encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master in Civil Engineering required.
• 5+ years in land development design and permitting.
• PE license is beneficial; EIT required or in progress.
• Strong knowledge of zoning, permitting, and construction requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and review grading, drainage, and utility plans for complex sites.
• Conduct zoning research and site feasibility analyses.
• Support project coordination with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Review design deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate with and provide guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Perform hydrology, stormwater, and earthwork calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Contribute to project budgeting, workload planning, and task coordination.
