Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Field Civil Supervisor in Illinois to join the Project Management team and ensure civil scope construction aligns with the owner's contract and plans.

You will manage subcontractors, track schedule and cost, enforce safety and quality, and maintain daily progress reports using Procore. A high school diploma is required; civil engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with solar and/or wind construction.
• Ability to lead and coordinate own and others' actions, manage own time and resources.
• Ability to read and understand project documents, plans and specs.
• Strong record-keeping and daily time reporting.
• Effective supervision and clear communication with crew.

Responsibilities

• Review civil plan documentation and subcontract to ensure alignment.
• Manage civil subcontractors to meet timelines with safety and quality.
• Experience with SWPPP/DEQ plans and requirements.
• Plan daily civil scope activities in collaboration with subs.
• Maintain knowledge of project plans, specs, drawings, submittals, permits.
• Provide daily updates to project management for progress tracking.
• Track scope, schedule, and cost for the civil scope with the team.
