Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Civil BIM designer to drive delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects through advanced BIM coordination, digital delivery and model management.

You will lead design collaboration, develop civil BIM models from concepts to construction drawings, mentor team members, and promote best practices in BIM delivery while ensuring QA/QC across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in BIM technology, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 6-10+ years full-time experience with Civil BIM design.
• Knowledge of Civil elements and design principles.
• Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Forma/Navisworks/Revizto or similar coordination tools.
• Knowledge of Revit and MicroStation is useful.
• Experience in Excel operations and programming; AutoLISP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate BIM project data sets/workflows and project setup.
• Direct collaboration with design teams to develop civil BIM models and drawings.
• Lead multi-discipline projects and manage teams to meet BIM requirements.
• Promote best practices in BIM delivery and support automation tool improvements.
• Provide technical support, mentor team members, and host BIM kickoff sessions.
• Ensure QA/QC protocols and proper model submissions are followed.
