Job summary

The City of Maypearl is seeking an experienced project manager to oversee complex construction and infrastructure initiatives. You will initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and city departments to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include leading project teams, managing bids and contracts, developing budgets, reviewing design documents, and presenting progress to City staff and officials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Engineering or Construction from an accredited college.
• Five years of progressively responsible construction project management experience.
• Three years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead projects, trainings, and technical services.
• Manage selection process, contract terms, fees, and bid processes.
• Plan budgets and schedules from pre-design to post-construction.
• Provide technical advice to City management, field personnel, and contractors.
• Attend City Council and board meetings as City staff representative.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
