Job summary

Leidos seeks a Senior System Administrator to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DoD. You will provide Tier 2/3 operations across remote data centers, manage Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp, NetScaler, and StoreFront in addition to M365 Azure Virtual Desktop.

Qualifications

• Experience interfacing with customers to handle inquiries and problems.
• Tier 2/3 system administration experience with desktop software and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Familiar with IC IT standards and best practices.
• Extensive Citrix technology knowledge: XenDesktop, XenApp, NetScaler, StoreFront.
• Experience managing Microsoft M365 Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD).
• Experience patching/upgrading front-end and back-end Citrix systems.
• Experience with rapid testing, validation, and deployment of baseline images.
• Proven incident/trend analysis via log review and performance baselining.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote administration of servers in offsite data centers.
• Provide Tier 2/3 operations support for Citrix technologies and AVD.
• Monitor infrastructure and health metrics to prevent customer impact.
• Collaborate with Engineering for modernization and architectural improvements.
• Coordinate with teams for Group Policy testing and deployment.
• Conduct regular backups and verify restorations for servers.
