Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Citrix VDI SME to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DoD. The administrator will provide Tier 2/3 operations, remote management of offsite servers, and assist with implementing Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp, NetScaler, StoreFront and M365 AVD solutions.

You will monitor health and capacity, perform upgrades, coordinate with engineering for modernization, and respond to outages. A TS/SCI with poly is required; DoD certifications and ITSM experience are essential.

Qualifications

Experience interacting with customers to handle service inquiries.
Extensive experience as Tier 2/3 system administrator with Citrix tech stack.
Knowledge of IC IT standards and best practices.
Extensive knowledge of Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp, NetScaler and StoreFront.
Experience managing Microsoft M365 Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD).
Experience with patch and upgrade methodology for front-end and back-end Citrix systems.
Experience with VMware virtualization to manage virtual servers.
Experience with Microsoft RDS host servers.
Experience with log review, incident management and trend analysis.

Responsibilities

Perform remote administration of offsite data center servers.
Provide Tier 2 and 3 administrator support for Citrix technologies and Microsoft 365 AVD.
Collaborate to plan and implement modernization efforts.
Monitor infrastructure and perform health checks to prevent outages.
Coordinate testing and deployment of new solutions across teams.
Develop and update SOPs and monitoring documentation.
Respond to after-hours outages as needed.
Mentor junior team members.
