Job summary

Leidos Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Cisco SD-WAN Engineer to design, deploy and maintain SD-WAN solutions across DEV/TEST and Production environments. You will serve as an SME, coordinating with customers and vendors, and ensuring secure, scalable WAN infrastructure.

Responsibilities include configuring vManage/vBond, managing QoS and security policies, and supporting deployments, upgrades and migrations. A DoD 8570 II/ Security+CE clearance and Top Secret/SCI eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of related experience or Master with 10+ years.
• Experience in remotely configuring networking or transport devices.
• Strong experience with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela/Meraki).
• Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Ability to interpret network topology diagrams and implement changes.
• Experience with VPN/IPSec and on-premises SD-WAN deployment.
• DoD 8570 IAT II(Security+CE) certification required.
• Top Secret/SCI eligibility clearance required.
• Proficiency with Cisco IOS-XE, vManage, and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy and manage Cisco SD-WAN solutions.
• Coordinate deployments with DRSN engineers and site personnel.
• Evaluate system requirements and provide technical recommendations.
• Implement SD-WAN overlay/underlay networking including BGP/OSPF.
• Configure and manage QoS, security policies, and segmentation.
• Support testing, testing and validation of SD-WAN components.
• Monitor WAN performance and troubleshoot SD-WAN issues.
• Document network architecture and best practices.
