Job summary

InOpTra Digital in the United States seeks two senior Cisco Routing & Switching engineers to lead maintenance-window cuts in a large-scale Cisco environment. These hands-on, senior roles require leadership under tight time pressure.

One resource covers day shift and the other overnight CST window. US citizens based in the US are required and the contract runs for 6 months with immediate start.

Qualifications

• 14+ years in enterprise or service-provider network engineering.
• CCNP or CCIE Routing & Switching or Enterprise preferred.
• Experience with large-scale network migrations / hardware refresh cutovers.
• Ability to lead a team during live maintenance windows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical direction to a team of ~10 engineers during maintenance-window cuts on Cisco devices.
• Design and build MOPs for maintenance windows with rollback and verification steps.
• Configure devices from scratch, translating configurations from older OS to current OS.
• Own real-time triage during cuts: handle config failures, hardware failures, config recovery, troubleshooting.
• Execute and oversee routing/switching cutovers with minimal disruption.
