Job summary

22nd Century Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer Lead to ensure stable operation of client networks. You will plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network hardware, software, and links while addressing issues promptly.

The role requires expert collaboration, SD/WAN and Cisco equipment experience, and security awareness. Location is Chattanooga with on-site work, transitioning to some remote work after six months where appropriate.

Qualifications

4 years of professional experience in data communications and networking.
Hands-on deployment of LANs/WANs and wireless networks.
Experience with Cisco Catalyst and Meraki equipment.
CCNA/CCNP certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary expert for all networking initiatives during the contract term.
Deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks and refresh equipment.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide reports.
Manage network assets, inventory, and security solutions.
Install and upgrade networking hardware and software on devices.
Coordinate with vendors and assist with procurement as needed.
Collaborate with end-users and document procedures and standards.
