Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform complex inspection procedures on circuit boards and assemblies, ensuring conformance to quality standards before shipping. The role requires reading documentation, selecting inspection methods, and communicating issues with customers.

You will verify machine setup, determine defect causes, and train others in QC procedures, acting as final checkpoint for finished goods prior to shipment. Strong PC and math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years experience in a relevant Jabil production position.
• Advanced PC Skills and training and experience in applicable software packages.
• Ability to operate a Windows based operating system and related software.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements, rates and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex inspection procedures on circuit boards and assemblies to ensure quality at pre-ship and final stages.
• Verifies correct machine set-up prior to running assemblies.
• Selects inspection method (first article checks, sampling, or 100% inspection).
• Interacts with customer quality inspection systems and communicates quality issues.
• Determines cause and effect of defects and refers to manufacturing for correction.
• Trains other employees in Quality Control processes and procedures.
