Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform complex inspection of circuit boards and assemblies. The role ensures conformance to quality standards pre-ship and during final production, verifying machine setup and referencing broad documentation. The candidate will apply electrical principles, select inspection methods, and liaise with customers on quality issues.

Training others in QC is included. Strong attention to detail and PC skills are required; familiarity with Jabil software packages

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to managers and customers.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and memos.
• Strong numerical and basic math skills for measurements.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of complex boards and assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Verify correct machine setup before running production.
• Read and apply documentation from reference materials.
• Choose inspection method (first article, sampling, or 100% inspection).
• Apply electrical knowledge to determine pass/fail of parts.
• Communicate quality issues with customers and conduct post-pack audits.
• Identify defect causes and refer for corrective action to Quality Supervisor.
• Act as final checkpoint before shipment of finished goods.
• Train others in QC processes and procedures.
• Move parts to inspection stations as needed.
