Job summary
Bio-Techne is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer in the Hematology division to drive enterprise-wide process excellence and strategic CI initiatives. You will partner with senior leadership to improve operational efficiency, quality, and scalability across manufacturing.
This role requires Lean Six Sigma expertise, strong data analytics (Power BI/Excel), and experience with ERP/MES environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
- 7+ years of CI, manufacturing, or operations experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and change management.
- Proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI).
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within hematology reagents manufacturing.
- Identify, prioritize, and support cost-improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Own Visual Factory management systems and lead Gemba walks with frontline teams.
- Support data collection, analysis, and reporting using Power BI and SmartSheets.
- Collaborate with QA, QC, Engineering, Maintenance, and Production to drive CI initiatives.
- Assist with manufacturing automation projects and digital transformation efforts.
