The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints seeks a people manager to lead facilities operations and maintenance for a region, overseeing a team across meetinghouses, mission homes, offices, and camps. The role oversees ~5 million square feet and reports to the AMFM.

You will train staff, manage OpEx/CapEx, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with real estate, architecture, engineering, construction and planning teams to improve facilities performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, architecture, engineering, construction management, or related area.
• 10+ years of experience in construction management and physical facilities administration.
• 5+ years of significant supervisory/management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities; ability to formulate strategy.
• Understand end-to-end processes and integration across functions.
• May include physical requirements such as sitting for long periods and using computer equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Manages a region of 20+ employees across facilities managers, coordinators, and mission home attendants for ~5 million sq ft.
• Trains facilities managers and monitors KPIs for region performance.
• Recommend annual CapEx and OpEx budgets to Area leadership and HQ, ensuring plan performance and budget utilization.
• Control OpEx and CapEx expenditures and prioritize regional requests.
• Conduct operational reviews and inspections for consistent service quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and Church standards; promote a safety culture.
• Collaborate with third-party providers and other departments (real estate, architecture & engineering, construction, planning).
• Support area initiatives and recommend improvements; assist divisions with emergencies.
