This senior-level field service role is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and commissioning of large-tonnage HVAC and chiller equipment. It requires advanced technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting ability, and extensive hands‑on experience with commercial and industrial chiller systems. Candidates should be comfortable serving as both technical experts and mentors for junior technicians.

Base pay range

$72,800.00/yr – $110,240.00/yr

Responsibilities

Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain large-tonnage chillers and associated HVAC systems
Perform preventative maintenance to maximize uptime and efficiency
Troubleshoot advanced mechanical, refrigeration, and electrical issues
Work with a variety of chiller systems, including centrifugal, screw, absorption, and scroll units
Support system start‑up, commissioning, and performance testing
Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental standards, including refrigerant handling
Complete detailed service logs, work orders, and technical reports
Act as a senior technical resource for customers and internal teams
