Job summary

McKinstry in Tampa, FL seeks a Chiller Technician to join our ActiveOps Technical Services team. You will manage subcontractors on site and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring HVAC installations meet quality standards.

The role requires HVAC expertise, OSHA certifications, and a BS in CM/ME/EE/Facilities Mgmt or equivalent, plus EPA 608 certification and a valid driver’s license. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 and 30 certifications required or must be obtained within 6 months of assuming position.
• Six (6) years of leadership of trades and job sites preferred.
• EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants is required or preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• On-site management of subcontractors and maintenance of client relationships.
• Perform quality control checks of HVAC installations.
• Provide recommendations on system upgrades and energy-efficient alternatives.
• Communicate with clients by providing technical guidance and support.
