Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Chiller Technician for the ActiveOps Technical Services team in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on on-site management of subcontractors, maintaining client relationships and ensuring successful HVAC projects from start to finish.

The position requires strong HVAC knowledge, OSHA certifications or plans to obtain them within 6 months, and proficiency with MS Office tools. A BA/BS in related fields is preferred, with opportunities for career growth at McKinstry.

Qualifications

• Six years of leadership on trades and job sites preferred.
• OSHA 10 and 30 certifications required or must be obtained within 6 months.
• EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants isdesired.
• BA/BS in Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Architecture or Facilities Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site management of subcontractors and client relationships.
• Perform quality control checks of HVAC installations and recommend energy-efficient upgrades.
