Job summary

XNRGY Climate Systems is seeking a seasoned field service technician to support data center cooling installations across the continental U.S. You will diagnose, start-up, and service high-performance chillers, HVAC equipment, and refrigeration systems in mission-critical environments.

Expect travel 50–80% with frequent on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer-facing interactions. This is a high-impact, overtime-friendly role offering substantial earning potential and rapid exposure

Qualifications

• 7+ years in chiller service or industrial HVAC
• Strong troubleshooting across refrigeration and controls
• Willingness to travel 50–80% and work extended hours

Responsibilities

• Rework & Completion: Prepare and finalize units for field deployment, ensuring quality and readiness
• Start-Up & Commissioning: Perform electrical, mechanical, chiller/refrigeration, and HVAC controls verification (L2-L5)
• Chiller Service: Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair chillers, refrigeration circuits, compressors, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and related components
• Field Service: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC and cooling systems on-site
• System Diagnostics: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigerant, and controls-related issues affecting performance
• Customer Support: Represent the company in the field with strong communication and professionalism
• Documentation: Complete service reports, track issues, and support continuous improvement
