Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree plus four years of experience in child welfare.
• Advanced degree in a social science/behavioral health field, nursing, or a JD plus three years of child welfare experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports executive review, analysis, and management of Child Welfare personnel performance, practice, trends, training needs, and succession plans.
• Identifies, directs, and performs the identification of policies and practices related to staff development.
• Serves as a liaison for communications with data system staff, legal staff, Human Resources, CW Executive staff, and others addressing staff performance issues.
• Interprets, implements and ensures compliance with state and federal policies and procedures governing Child Welfare Services.
• Provides for unit and individual staff supervisory meetings.
• Oversees work on special projects and contracts addressing staff performance issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned for efficient agency operation.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
