Qualifications

• Five years of responsible work experience, including 1 year as a Child Support Officer I or equivalent in child support services.
• Notary Public Commission within three months of employment; Enforcement certification within one year for Enforcement and Accounting duties; APA certification within one year for Establishment or Modification duties.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check including fingerprinting; ability to access State and County systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Child Support Service Officers and develop unit procedures and policies.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentorship; evaluate training needs and effectiveness.
• Monitor quality assurance, address complaints, and resolve escalations promptly.
• Prepare complex legal documents for attorney use in court hearings and ensure proper processing.
• Identify and communicate operational improvements; maintain updated training materials.
