Job summary

Camelot Community Care is seeking licensed clinicians to provide Comprehensive Behavioral Health Assessments (CBHAs) for children in court-ordered placement. Assessments explore emotional, social, behavioral, and developmental functioning with guidance from Medicaid and state requirements.

The role covers Sarasota and Manatee Counties and requires your Masters, a Florida license (LCSW/LMFT/LMHC), and a current LIP.

Qualifications

• Must have a Masters degree and be licensed as a LCSW, LMFT, LMHC or the like with a minimum of 2 years experience working with children who have experienced abuse, neglect or other trauma is REQUIRED.
• Carry own professional liability insurance (LIP).
• Knowledge of Florida’s Child Welfare Practice Model is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit final Comprehensive Assessments for referred children within 23 days of referral date.
• Complete assessments per Medicaid regulations and Safe Children Coalition requirements.
• Follow up as required with referral sources; follow-up work included in costs of the completed Assessment.
• Complete all assessment paperwork including CANS Assessment and required logs.
• Meet training requirements per Medicaid and Safe Children Coalition; provide documentation upon request.
• Reimbursement of billable hours defined in Medicaid Handbook. Payment within 15 days of Camelot receiving payment.
