Job summary

Camelot Community Care in Fort Lauderdale seeks experienced Licensed Clinicians to provide Comprehensive Behavioral Health Assessments (CBHAs) for children in court-ordered placements. Assessments cover emotional, social, behavioral and developmental functioning across family, home and school contexts.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree and a Florida-licensed credential (LCSW/LMFT/LMHC or equivalent) with at least 2 years of relevant trauma-focused experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a Masters degree and be licensed as a LCSW, LMFT, LMHC or the like.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working with children who have experienced abuse, neglect or trauma.
• Carry own professional liability insurance (LIP).
• Excellent writing and assessment skills; CEUs and relevant conferences tracked.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit final Comprehensive Assessments for referred children within 23 days of referral.
• Perform CBHAs according to Medicaid regulations and Safe Children Coalition requirements.
• Handle follow-up work included in the assessment costs as needed.
• Complete all assessment paperwork including CANS, templates, and logs of hours.
• Meet Medicaid and COA training requirements and provide documentation on request.
• Billable hours reimbursed within 15 days of Camelot receiving payment from Medicaid or other sources.
• Deliver services in accordance with COA standards and applicable laws and regulations.
• Abide by professional ethics and Florida laws regarding children, families and reporting.
