Job summary

DCS Corp is seeking a senior, dual-hatted General and Operations Manager to serve as Chief Engineer on a major US Navy Aviation Services and Support contract. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, drive engineering governance, and ensure fleet readiness and mission success.

You will interface with Navy IPT leads, Technical Directors, and program leadership, mentoring engineers and administrative staff while delivering high-value solutions and ensuring system reliability and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree focused on aerospace engineering, computer science, or closely related discipline with 20+ years experience.
• Substitution: BS with 24+ years related experience.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance within 6-9 months and TS/SCI clearance.
• 20+ years of combined aviation and management experience.
• 3+ years of direct management of lower-level engineers/managers.
• 20+ years of dedicated experience in technical support, complex systems management, or military aviation leadership.
• Experience with interfacing with contractors and US/foreign government personnel.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily engineering and support operations, resolve critical escalated system issues, and meet SLAs.
• Oversee monitoring tools to optimize systems and deliverable accuracy.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate technical staff; mentor lower-level managers for career growth.
• Serve as a technical advisor to government stakeholders and partner with defense vendors.
