Job summary

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH INC) seeks a dual-hatted General and Operations Manager, Senior, who will also serve as Chief Engineer for the NAWS China Lake program.

The role demands steering weapons integration, software validation, and flight-test architecture while ensuring cybersecurity and safety compliance in support of Navy warfighting capabilities. You will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering workforce, collaborate with Navy IPTs, and manage engineering output

Qualifications

• MS/MA degree in a relevant technical field.
• BS/BA degree with 4 years of experience substitution.
• 20 years combined aviation and management experience.
• 3 years of management experience guiding lower-level technical/engineering managers.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (TS preferred).
• Valid driver's license and insurability to drive company/government vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal technical authority and contract co-lead for NAWS China Lake program.
• Interface with Navy Technical Directors and IPT leads for systems engineering lifecycle governance.
• Oversee requirements derivation, architecture validation, CCBs and airworthiness readiness.
• Establish engineering methodologies, safety processes, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Translate Navy objectives into executable systems engineering workflows and guide IPTs across disciplines.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams in avionics, uncrewed systems, and range instrumentation networks.
